FREE TO BE ME
Whoever said "Freedom wasn't Free" was obviously not thinking of the the freedom that is provided through a real relationship with Jesus Christ, when you know him as your personal Lord & Savior. I was just recently reflecting on how good it feels to be able to say at the age of 40 something (wink-wink), that I am really and totally free.
Free From People:
For as long as I can remember, what people thought of me really mattered, to the point that it stagnated my growth as a person, stifled my personality, and made me shy away because I was afraid of what others would think if they really KNEW me. Well..., Christ really knows me, he knows my heart, my motives, my craziness, and my inner-most parts. I have come to the conclusion that if he can accept me "as-is" then people will have to do the same, or not, and that's ok too. I do hope that the person who is reading this comes to the realization that you were fearfully and wonderfully made, quirky dispositions, dysfunctional upbringing and all. It is ok for you to like you, and once you can master that, then what others think and feel become obsolete,... why?, because you are ok with you, you know who you are, in and through Christ Jesus, and you are FREE from people,because those are their shortcoming, not yours.
Free From Bondages i.e.(Drugs, Alcohol,Unhealthy Relationships, Self-Destructing Behaviors/Habits)
Psalms 56:13 says "For You have delivered my soul from death, Indeed my feet from stumbling, So that I may walk before God In the light of the living"...Oh, the joy that comes from not being bound by things that had you before you were delivered through Christ Jesus. I don't think I can accurately put into words the feeling, other than by saying FREE! In this next season, God wants you walking in the freedom that he predestined you to have, he wants you free to be able to do all that he has called you to do. You have to come out so that you can bring others out. I was delivered from drugs and alcohol, not solely for myself, but so that I could bring others out. I survived molestation, and the sting of it, not for me, but so that I can help others walk into their freedom!
The cloud of deception and the spiraling effects of the bondages have to come off of you in this year, my sister...because God has need of you...yes You!
Lastly, Freedom from Mind Battles:
Many have struggled with mind battles, passed down from generational curses,mental deceptions that have hindered your growth, progress, and even hindered your closest relationships from being what they should have been. This is the season and year of Deliverance. Ask for it, receive it! The bible refers to deliverance, as the children's bread (Mathew 15:16), as children of the Most High God, you have a right to be free! Acknowledge that you need the help,and no longer shy away from what you know to be true, whether it is mental disorders that were passed down from Mama and Aunt Betty, or unusual shyness from the shame of childhood molestation...freedom is yours!
This I know for sure...He is willing and able to bring you out, out to a wealthy place of mental stability, self-esteem, and overall joy. He is just Good Like That...Ponder on the things above, pray to your heavenly Father, and Receive all the deliverance and freedom that is rightfully yours!
Let me agree with you in prayer:
"Father, I thank you for my sister, and we come to you in agreeance according to your word, that if two of us agree on anything as touching in heaven that you hear us, and will grant our petitions. I pray now for complete deliverance in every area of her life, break the bondages, destroy the generational curses that have lingered through her family line. Right now, in the name of Jesus, I bind every hindering attack, and every demonic spirit that is coming agaist her, and declare freedom, and wholeness in Jesus Name. Lord, we thank you now for complete freedom from all that has her bound, and we declare that she is now and forevermore a new creature in Christ. Amen.
Glory to God!...bask in your Freedom, and stay there, fill yourself with the Word of the Lord, search the scriptures for encouragement, and get in his presence daily through prais eand worship.
Again I say, oh, the joys of being Free!!
